Shoot-A-Rounds
I use the term Shoot-A-Rounds to describe images made with a digital camera before I make black and white photographs with large format equipment. Shoot-A-Rounds allow me to explore the best vantage point and focal length for a possible subject before committing to more expensive materials and time consuming camera setups. Shoot-A-Rounds exercise the eye to help with decisions made inside the viewfinder and to document the places where I have made photographs.
